Gubernatorial candidate attending luncheon in Naples today

Florida Attorney General Charlie Crist will be in Naples today for the Naples Economic Development Council luncheon.

The noon luncheon is at the Naples Sailing and Yacht Club, 896 River Point Drive.

Crist, who is running for governor, is doing a bus tour around the state Thursday. He is running against Tom Gallagher, chief financial officer for Florida, to be the Republican nominee for governor.

The tour begins in Fort Lauderdale in the morning and will end in St. Petersburg.
