A Golden Gate man has been charged with sex battery after watching a pornographic video with a 2 ½-year-old girl and receiving oral sex from the toddler, authorities said.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office said Steve Moore, 50, was charged with sex battery – victim under 12, suspect 18 or older; and distributing obscene material to a minor. Moore was arrested at about 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The name of the girl wasn’t released because of the nature of the alleged crime.
Authorities said based on information from the girl’s family, investigators began an investigation into Moore’s activities. Through interviews and a polygraph with Moore, investigators determined that the girl saw parts of a pornographic video that Moore was watching while the girl stayed at his residence.
Moore and the girl knew each other, authorities said, but the Sheriff’s Office wasn’t releasing other details about their relationship.
Investigators said Moore also received oral sex from the girl. He told investigators that the girl would sneak into his bedroom while he was sleeping, unbutton his shorts and play with his penis.
