Southwest Florida could get rain today

If you're heading out this morning, don't forget to grab an umbrella.

Southwest Florida could see some showers and thunderstorms after 8 a.m. today, the National Weather Service reports.

Temperatures are expected to climb to 90 degrees today with winds out of the east at 7 to 10 mph. The relative humidity will be at 76 percent today, the weather service said.

Tonight, temperatures will drop to 77 degrees under partly cloudy skies.

Sunday could also see some rain.

According to the National Weather Service, there will be a 50 percent chance for storms on Sunday. Temperatures will reach 89 degrees with southeasterly winds between 9 to 15 mph. Sunday's low will be 76.
