Another rainy, hot day ahead

The tropical depression that formed Saturday in the Caribbean Sea will bring more rain today to Southwest Florida.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout most of the day with temperatures near 85 degrees, the National Weather Service reports. The relative humidity will be at 87 percent with winds out of the southeast at 16 to 18 mph. Temperatures should drop to about 75 degrees tonight.

The wet weather is likely to continue through the start of the work week.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will be mostly cloudy with a 70 percent chance for rain. Temperatures will reach 83 degrees with winds out of the south at about 21 mph. Monday's low will be 77.
