Local engagements, weddings and anniversaries: June 11

Engagement: Burke —Hildwine

Debra E. Burke of Grass Valley, Calif., and Bruce D. Jones of Naples announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Dawn Burke, to Jeriah Hildwine, son of Jean M. Dickson and Gerald F. Hildwine, both of San Diego.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Nevada Union High School and is a student at Humboldt State University. The prospective groom is a graduate of Humboldt State University and attends Maryland Institute College of Art, Hoffberger School of Painting.

The wedding is planned for Aug. 5 in Arcata, Calif.

Engagement: Walker — McEachern

J. Ray and Carol Walker of Land O'Lakes announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica Lynn, to Timothy Hastings McEachern, son of G. Carson and Laurie McEachern of Naples.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Armwood High School and the University of South Florida. She is the marketing director for Kensington Golf and Country Club.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Naples High School and the University of Florida. He is a project manager for Opus South.

The wedding is planned for sunset Nov. 4 at the Naples Sailing and Yacht Club.

Wedding: Bricker — Sisco

Judy Erbach Bricker and Larry E. Sisco were married by the Rev. Richard Leonard on April 22 at the Winter Garden in New York. The bride will retain her name.

The bride, daughter of Carol and Thomas Erbach of Naples, is a graduate of Florida State University. She is the Florida marketing director for Northern Trust Bank.

The groom, son of the late Gene and June Sisco of Hoenwald, Tenn., is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. He is the owner of Avant-Yarde Landscape Management and Avant-Yarde Garden Center.

John and Kim Davis Severini of Huntington Beach, Calif. were the best man and matron of honor.

The couple honeymooned in New England and reside in Naples.

Wedding: Hill — Ojanovac

Michelle Hill and Nicholas Ojanovac were married by Judge Franklin G. Baker on April 29 at the beach at 18th Avenue South, Naples. A reception at the Boat Club of Naples followed.

The bride is an associate attorney with Berry, Day, McFee and Martin, and the groom is the owner of Collier Genie.

The bride's sister, Beth Steigerwald of Naples, was the maid of honor, and Amy Daniels of Naples was the matron of honor. The groom's daughters, Alexa Ojanovac of Naples, was the junior bridesmaid, and Camryn Ojanovac of Naples, was the flower girl. Ronny Haar was the best man. The bride's son, Gavin Hill of Naples, and Brian Carlos of Gainesville were ushers.

The couple honeymooned in Paris, Dublin and London and reside in Naples.

Anniversary: Olivers celebrate 60 years

Jack and Paula Oliver of Naples celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 2 at a surprise dinner party.

The couple were married in Columbia, Mo. They have been residents of Naples since 1973 relocating from St. Louis. Jack Oliver was a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, and Paula Oliver was a teacher and a librarian at Lake Park Elementary.

The couple have a son, Marc; a daughter, Laurie; and three grandchildren.
