Real estate news in brief: Staff appointments, sales leaders

A list of recent real estate staff appointments and sales leaders.

Kimball Hill Homes

Jennifer Gardner has been named construction manager for the Fort Myers division. Gardner, who has more than five years of experience in the construction industry, holds a degree in architecture from the University of Buffalo New York. She formerly held a management position at Habitat for Humanity in Philadelphia.

The Prince Group

Andrea Farrell has been named the sales leader for May at Palmetto Cove. Farrell joined The Prince Group in February after receiving a real estate license the same month. She previously worked for Ameriquest Mortgage as an account specialist and as an account manager with Emmis Communications in Indianapolis. She majored in marketing at the University of South Alabama.

Todd Nugent has been named the sales leader for May at Palazzo del Sol. He was also the sales leader for April. A Rhode Island native, Nugent has more than six years of experience in new home sales. Before joining The Prince Group, he worked as a securities broker and dealer for 15 years. Nugent holds a degree in business administration from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg.

Carla Bonten Realty Inc.

Kim Linz has joined the company’s Bay Landing office. Linz moved to Southwest Florida from New Haven, Conn. in the mid-1980s. She earned a degree in nursing.

Ryland Homes

Chris Carlin will join the sales staff at the Promenade at The Forum community. He has three years of experience in new home sales.

Owen-Ames-Kimball

The company has added two project managers to its Southwest Florida operations. Michael S. Biagi and Kenneth A. Gentry will be responsible for establishing project budgets and contracts, issuing subcontracts and establishing clear lines of communication with owners, architects, engineers, lenders and personnel.

Biagi graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in building construction. He has more than 33 years of project management experience internationally, with projects such as the embassy renovations in Armenia, Kazakhstan, Haiti and Puerto Rico. He has overseen projects from light industrial to large power/institutional specialty work, with local experience in new hospitality and retail construction.

Gentry graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in building construction. His 20-plus years of experience in the construction industry includes local large retail and education projects as well as projects for Walt Disney World, Visa International and the Miami Dolphins and Florida Marlins franchises.
