Today's debate in Naples between the two Republican candidates for governor has been canceled.
Charlie Crist and Tom Gallagher were scheduled to debate at 6 tonight at the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts, 5833 Pelican Bay Blvd. in North Naples.
On Monday officials with the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce announced that the debate had been called off because of Tropical Storm Alberto.
"We apologize for any inconvenience caused," said Chamber President Mike Reagen.
The debate will be rescheduled at a date to be announced.
