The high is expected to reach 91 near the coast and 94 degrees inland, the National Weather Service said. Factor in the humidity, and it could feel more like 102 degrees, forecasters said.
A 30 percent chance of rain is in the forecast this afternoon with partly cloudy skies.
Similar weather conditions are expected this weekend. The high on Saturday and Sunday should reach the low 90s with chances of afternoon storms.
A storm chance also is in the forecast each day next week, forecasters said.
Naples Municipal Airport has recorded 1.79 inches of rain this month, although the average June brings 8.18 inches to the city, weather service records indicate.
