A 40 percent chance of storms is in the forecast this afternoon with partly cloudy skies. The low will drop to about 73 tonight, then a 30 percent chance of storms is in the forecast on Tuesday.

The heat index on Tuesday could reach 103 degrees with temperatures in the low 90s, forecasters said.

A chance of storms is in the forecast each day this week with high in the 90s.
