Men sought in Immokalee home invasions

Investigators are searching for the men involved in three home invasions this weekend in Immokalee.

The incidents occurred at 9:53 p.m. Friday at 117 North 15th St., at 11:30 p.m. Friday at 301 Wells St. and at 10:55 p.m. Sunday at 514 North 19th St.

In each incident, two or three Hispanic men entered the home with their faces covered with cloths or bandanas and displayed handguns. In two of the cases, one of the men fired his gun in the home, authorities said. No one was injured.

The men appeared to be looking for money, cell phones and jewelry, the Sheriff’s Office said. After the robberies, the men left the area.

Canine and air units assisted in trying to find a track but were unsuccessful, authorities said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office in Naples at 793-9300 or in Immokalee at 657-6168.
