Hail hit the Bonita Springs area this evening as part of a thunderstorm that tore through Collier and south Lee counties.
The storm was strongest in south Lee and north Collier, although it did cause a marine warning south of Naples to about Everglades City, according to the National Weather Service Web site.
In Bonita Springs, the hail came down with the rain. The precipitation had subsided after about 10 minutes.
