The victim of an apparent drowning in Estero Bay has been identified as a San Carlos Park man.
The body of Bruce A. Clark, 58, of 17610 Oriole Road, was found just before 2 p.m. Saturday near Fort Myers Beach.
According to Lee County Sheriff's Office reports, three boaters saw Clark's body floating under docks near 5571 Avenida Pescadora.
Clark was found in street clothes and tennis shoes, said Sheriff's Office spokesman Angelo Vaughn. He did not appear to have been in the water for long, Vaughn said.
Toxicology tests and a cause of death are pending, but police do not suspect foul play and are treating Clark's death as a drowning, Vaughn said.
