The Collier County Sheriff’s Office will host an event later this week focusing on combating human trafficking.
The Sheriff’s Office will host the Miami Council for International Visitors at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Professional Development Center, 615 Third Ave. South.
The group represents more than a dozen countries and will discuss local trafficking cases and efforts to combat trafficking, authorities said.
Participants include representatives from Albania, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Norway, Latvia and the United Kingdom.
