Real estate news in brief: Staff appointments, sales leaders

A list of recent real estate staff appointments and sales leaders.

DiVosta Homes

Michael Agins has been named the May sales leader for the Southwest Florida market of the company, a division of Pulte Homes Inc. He is a sales associate for VeronaWalk, Naples, where he is responsible for the sales of single-family homes, patio homes and town homes. A native of Coral Springs, Agins is a graduate of the University of Florida, Gainesville, with a bachelor of science degree in business marketing and management in sales. Agins joined the VeronaWalk staff earlier this year.

Centex Homes of Southwest Florida

The company announced its sales leaders for the 2005-06 fiscal year ending March 31, 2006.

Peg Timpone was named salesperson of the year for Centex Homes’ Southwest Florida Division, which incorporates, Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties. Timpone has been with Centex Homes for seven years. She is a sales associate in the Hawthorne community in Bonita Springs. She was previously a sales associate at the Centex Homes communities of Emerson Square, Coco Bay and Crown Colony Golf & Country Club in Fort Myers. A Florida-licensed Realtor, Timpone relocated to Fort Myers more than 25 years ago from New York. She has more than 16 years of experience in on-site and general real estate sales and in the mortgage banking and title insurance industries. Timpone is a member of the Collier Building Industry Association and the Lee Building Industry Association.

Maria Louise Simonson was named sales associate for the fourth quarter. Simonson has been with Centex Homes nearly three years and is currently a sales associate for the neighborhoods of Alden Woods and Player’s Cove at Lely Resort & Country Club. She was previously involved in sales for Centex Homes at Lely Mustang Island and Madison Park in Naples. Born and educated in Austria, Simonson has a degree in business and relocated to Southwest Florida from Bozeman, Mont. seven years ago. She has been a Florida-licensed Realtor for six years. She was named Centex Homes Southwest Florida Division Salesperson of the Year for fiscal year ending 2005. She has a background in retail ownership and operation as well as management and sales.

South Bay Realty

The company has named its sales and listing leaders for May.

Sales associate Roy Migeot is the listing leader for the month. For the past five years he has specialized in the Vanderbilt Beach/North Naples area and is located at the Vanderbilt Beach office.

Barbara Duran led the company in closed sales. She is entering her third year as a sales associate with the company and has experience in residential and vacant land properties, with a detailed knowledge of the Golden Gate Estates area.

Cornerstone Developers

Linda McCulloch has joined the company as a sales associate. She will specialize in custom home sales in the Park Shore, The Moorings and Old Naples corridor. McCulloch brings more than 20 years of sales experience to Cornerstone Developers, most recently as an agent for Royal LePage Benchmark Real Estate in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

EH Building Group

Kathy Hoskins has been named director of sales and marketing for the company’s Southwest Division. Hoskins will be responsible for overseeing the Southwest Florida division’s sales and marketing activities, which includes Sail Harbour in Fort Myers and EH Building Group’s newest community Copperhead Golf & Country Club in Lehigh Acres. A Baltimore native, Hoskins has more than 22 years of experience in the home-building industry, specializing in sales and marketing. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and a master of education from the College of New Jersey. Hoskins has earned the Certified Sales Professional (CSP) designation from the National Association of Home Builders and is a former CSP instructor.

RE/MAX Sundance Realty II

The company has named its listing and sales leaders for the month of May.

Allan Hase is the listing leader. Hase has lived in Southwest Florida since 1980 and the San Carlos Park/Estero area since 1986. He grew up in Missouri and attended the University of Missouri before enlisting in the United States Air Force and serving one year in Vietnam. Hase is a member of the Bonita Springs-Estero Association of Realtors (BEAR), the Florida Association of Realtors (FAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). He is also a member of the Sunshine MLS which services Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach, Estero, Bonita Springs and Naples.

Jeanette Igoe has been named the sales leader. Originally from Bismarck, N.D., Igoe moved to Miami while attending college. In 1972 she moved to the Lee/Collier County area where she worked as an accountant/bookkeeper, comptroller for a major builder/land developer and also owned a computer business. Igoe is a buyer’s agent specializing in waterfront and new home construction as well as with investors on raw land assemblage. She is a member of BEAR, FAR and NAR.
