All 16 buildings in the carriage home community of Quartz Cove at The Quarry have been released for sale and several of the buildings are now under construction.
At completion, there will be 64 residences in Quartz Cove, several overlooking lakes or views of the Hurdzan/Fry-designed Quarry Golf Course.
There are two floor plans to select from.
The Whitestone is a first-floor residence with 2,091 air-conditioned square feet and 2,845 total square feet, which includes a covered lanai and a two-car garage. The plan features two bedrooms, and 2.5 baths plus a den.
The master suite is on one side of the home. The master bath includes dual vanities with sinks, a walk-in shower, an oval soaking tub with deck mount fixtures, a private water closet and a linen closet.
A guest bedroom with a full bathroom and walk in closet are on the opposite side of the home along with a den, a powder room, and a utility room with washer, dryer, sink and storage cabinets.
At the rear of the home is the kitchen, which features a dedicated pantry, a pass-through bar to the great room and an adjacent morning room. The morning room, great room and master bedroom all have direct access to the screen-enclosed lanai.
The Medallion is a second-floor plan encompassing 2,743 air-conditioned square feet and 3,648 total square feet, which includes a covered lanai, a balcony and a two-car garage. The plan features three bedrooms, three baths and a bonus room.
Accessible viable an optional elevator or a stairway capped by a tray ceiling, the Medallion opens into a great room design via a gallery foyer. An octagonal-shaped formal dining area is defined with a coffered tray ceiling. The bedrooms and den anchor the corners of this plan.
The master suite has a private entry vestibule marked with an octagonal tray accent ceiling. The master bedroom also has an octagonal tray ceiling and a walk-in closet with shelving on five walls. The master bath features double entry doors, two vanities with sinks on opposite walls, a walk-in shower, an oval soaking tub and a private water closet.
On the opposite side of the home are a second bedroom and a den, separated by a full bathroom. The kitchen and adjacent morning room are oriented towards the rear of the home. The kitchen features an island prep station and a dedicated pantry. The morning room, great room and master bedroom all have direct access to the covered lanai.
At the front of the home, separated by the staircase, is a third bedroom with a full bath, a laundry room with washer, dryer, sink and storage cabinets, and a bonus room. It also has a private balcony with double-door entry.
Features in the kitchens of both plans offer Whirlpool white-on-white appliances, including a range with glass cook top, solid surface countertops with tile backsplash, and raised panel cabinets including a pair of glass mullion upper cabinet doors, per plan.
Bathrooms include cultured marble vanity tops and sinks with full width mirrors, raised panel cabinets and a garden-style soaking tub in the master bath with tile surrounding and deck. Wood shelving is featured in the master bedroom closet and the kitchen pantry. Aesthetic features include interior six-panel doors, two-step decorative crown molding in tray ceilings, and art niches per plan. Both models also offer an option for a wet bar.
Quartz Cove features concrete villa tile roofs, brick paver driveways and walks, color stain finish on the concrete garage floors, wallpaper-ready walls in the kitchen, morning room and baths, and a pest defense system.
Homes in Quartz Cove are base-priced in the mid-$500,000s.
In addition to the carriage homes of Quartz Cove, Centex Homes currently offers a variety of floor plans in The Quarry from 1,654 to 3542 square feet of air-conditioned living space in five other neighborhoods. Home types consist of carriage homes, luxury carriage homes, villa homes, single-family and estate homes. Custom estate homesites and homes are also available in the neighborhood of Quarry Shores.
Encompassing more than 1,700 acres including 830 acres of natural preserves, The Quarry surrounds two recreational lakes, one of which is 230 acres and another that is 90 acres. The lakes will accommodate water skiing and the use of small personal watercraft.
The amenities at The Quarry will include the Lake Lodge and Beach Club located on the shores of 230-acre Stone Lake. The Beach Club will house a bar and grill, a lap pool and a lagoon-style pool and spa, sun decks, a fitness center and spa services. It will be accessible to those residents who opt to have boat docks on the lake. The Club’s pools will be in a beach setting, complete with a sandy shoreline. A Tennis Lodge is also planned for The Quarry.
The Quarry’s 18-hole, par 72 golf course is designed by Hurdzan-Fry. The Golf Lodge will provide formal dining, a bar and grill, a billiards room, pro shop, meeting rooms and men’s and women’s card rooms and locker rooms. A terrace will provide panoramas of the 18th hole and the community’s lakes.
