Armed men rob pizza delivery driver

Authorities are looking for two men who they say robbed a Domino’s Pizza delivery driver late Monday in East Naples.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office responded at 9:35 p.m. to 8665 Dilip Lane, No. 108. The delivery driver told deputies that he was sent to the address to deliver a pizza, then was approached by two men as he walked to the door.

One of the men pointed a shotgun at the delivery driver and demanded cash, authorities said.

The victim, 23-year-old William Urrutia, handed over an undisclosed amount of money, then the robbers ran away as the victim ran to his car to call for help.

A police dog couldn’t find the trail of the robbers. Deputies said the apartment where the pizza was to be delivered was vacant and the phone number wasn’t valid.

The men were described only as black, wearing shirts over their heads.
