A man charged with four armed robberies in East Naples that netted nearly $20,000 was sentenced today to five years in prison.
Dario R. Maidana, of 86 Truman Circle, was 19 years old in 2004 when authorities said he robbed the four businesses. He pleaded no contest today and was convicted in Collier County Circuit Court of four armed robbery charges.
Investigators caught Maidana after authorities said he bragged about how he got cash to purchase new clothes and a Honda Civic.
