Marco Island is getting its own daily Marco Eagle newspaper with free, early morning delivery Monday through Friday.

Many feel the move is long overdue. And we agree that a more timely, easier-to-read publication specifically tailored to all levels of community news is the Eagle you will come to trust, depend on and simply enjoy.

The slate is a clean one as this retooled blend of commitment to community and sound advertising emerges. The Eagle will be more in touch and more readily accessible to those who have expressed their desire to be a part of it.

You will become actively involved as community journalists in an atmosphere that will not relegate local news to the back burner.
