Two men rob pizza delivery man

A pizza delivery man was robbed at gunpoint Monday night while attempting to make a delivery to a vacant apartment, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office reported.

William Urrutia, 23, a Domino’s Pizza delivery man, was sent to an apartment at 8665 Dilip Lane, No. 108, at about 9:35 p.m. He told deputies that when he went to the door two men approached him and one of the men pointed a shotgun at him and demanded cash.

Urrutia handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the two robbers ran away, the Sheriff’s Office reported. A police tracking dog was called in but couldn’t find the trail of the suspects.

Both suspects, who were described as black men, had shirts over their heads to hide their faces, according to the report.
