Kids Free Fridays

Children 12 and younger can attend a different program each week, plus join a scavenger hunt, watch fish feeding time and stay for a movie from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays through Aug. 11 at Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center, 300 Tower Road, Naples. SATURDAY

'Star Spangled Pets'

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, the Humane Society hosts an open house featuring puppy kissing, face painting, dogs diving for dogs, bake sale, Chinese auction and a yard sale. Naples resident Cindy Hall, former competitor on the television show "Survivor," will be signing autographs. Humane Society of Collier County is located at 370 Airport-Pulling Road, Naples. SUNDAY

Country music jamboree

The Naples Country Music Club, with host band the "Night Sounds," holds a jamboree from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at VFW Post 7721, 800 Neff's Way, Naples. Admission is $3 for members, $5 for nonmembers and free for performers and children under 12. Information: 455-2649

Naples Jazz Masters

The group will be in concert from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Norris Center, 755 Eighth Ave. S., Naples. Tickets are $10. Information: 213-3058

Free family movies

"Jonah: Veggie Tales" (Rated G) and "Yours, Mine and Ours" (Rated PG) will be shown at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Regal Hollywood 20, 6006 Hollywood Drive, Naples. Information: 597-9494

WEDNESDAY

'Prints of Freedom'

A patriotic reception will be held Wednesday for an exhibit featuring paintings by Michelle Finnegan. The paintings incorporate handprints that symbolically represent patriotism, education and the greater community. The exhibit can be seen from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays through July 28 at the Falciglia Gallery of International College, 2655 Northbrooke Drive, Naples. Free. Information: 598-6110.

'Yankee Doodle Dandy'

The film about the life story of George M. Cohan, starring James Cagney, will be shown at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Collier County Headquarters Library, 2385 Orange Blossom Drive, Naples. Free. Registration not required. Information: 593-0177

CONTINUING

'Smokey Joe's Cafe'

The Naples Players are staging the Broadway musical revue featuring Leiber and Stoller's hits songs from the 1950s and '60s, through July 29. Performances take place at 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and at 2 p.m Sundays at Sugden Community Theatre's Blackburn Hall, 701 Fifth Ave. S., Naples. Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for students 18 and younger. Information: 263-7990

Zolan exhibit and sale

An art exhibit and sale of the Impressionist paintings of Richard Judson Zolan begins Saturday at Shirley Street Antique Mall, 5510 Shirley St., Naples. The exhibit, which features works including "Mother and Child," "Sea Captain," and "Tango," can be seen from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays through July 31. No admission.
