Their ages range from 4 years old to their 70s and they'll entertain you at the annual Christmas tree-lighting ceremony on Saturday at the Marco Town Center Mall.

The event is one of many of the "Christmas Island Style 2006" happenings.

This is the fifth year of the celebration and the tree was donated by the Italian-American Society. The tree was erected on Monday, but will be lit at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The masters of ceremonies will be Don Farmer and Chris Curle. Individual performers will entertain, along with performances by groups from the Tommie Barfield Elementary and Marco Island Charter Middle School.

The songs will include songs Jingle Bell Rock, All I Want for Christmas, Santa Baby, White Christmas and others.

"We've got a whole mess of entertainment," said Steve "Stef" Stefanides, chairman of Christmas Island Style. "It'll be a nice evening of entertainment and a nice tree-lighting."
