Obit: Elmer Harold Seelman

Elmer Harold Seelman, 82, of Marietta, Ga., and formerly of Marco Island, died Aug. 28, 2006.

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Greg Walton officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, in Sunset Ridge Cemetery, Kenosha, Wis.

Mr. Seelman was a World War II veteran. He was a retired branch manager from Snap-On Tools. Mr. Seelman was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Marietta. While living on Marco, he was a member of Marco Island Lutheran Church and the local VFW; and president of the Rotary Club.

Mr. Seelman is survived by his wife, Dorothy Seelman of Marietta; daughter, Carol Seelman of Marietta; son, Craig Seelman of Destin, Fla.; sister, Lois Lauritsen of Lakewood, Wis.; grandchildren: Kimberly Hall and husband, Michael, of Houston, TX; Kevin Seelman and wife, Lori, of Frisco, TX; Andrew Seelman of Forney, TX; great-grandchildren: Bella Grace Seelman, Aubrey Mae Hall; special friend, Judith Ann Hamilton; nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 2111 Lower Roswell Rd., Marietta, GA 30068. Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta is in charge of arrangements.
