Carole Sbertoli, a well-known Realtor, died on Sunday morning after becoming ill at the YMCA on Saturday. City fire and rescue and police responded to a 911 call at 9:05 a.m. on a report that she was unconscious.
The family said she was flown to Hollywood Memorial Hospital Trauma Center where she was pronounced dead on Sunday from a brain aneurysm.
She is the wife of Michael Sbertoli, a leader in the San Marco Knights of Columbus. The couple have a daughter, Lisa.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Fuller Funeral Home. No further details were available at press time.
