The driver of a Ford Mustang with a jet ski trailer accidentally backed the vehicle into the water south of the S.S. Jolley Bridge at 12:19 p.m., Sunday. No injuries were reported.
Marco Island Police Department officers and Fire-Rescue Department Division Chief Jeff Kutzke arrived a couple of minutes later. Kutzke canceled the call to other units. Bald Eagle towing arrived and removed the Mustang from the water. Kutzke cleared the scene at 12:45 p.m.
