It’s that time again. The Woman’s Club has scheduled this season’s Marco Island Homes Tour for Jan. 18 at the Marco Island Yacht Club. All those interested in attending this popular function are encouraged to reserve their tickets right away.
Tickets to the homes tour go very fast, according to the event’s chairperson, Woman’s Club member Lynne Minozzi.
“We were sold out by November,” said Minozzi of last year’s tour.
The Marco Island Homes Tour has become one of the organization’s most popular events and one of the most successful fundraisers for its scholarships foundation, which benefits deserving students from Marco Island.
“Last year we raised over $8,000 from the home tour,” Minozzi said.
Participants in the annual tour meet at the Marco Island Yacht Club for a buffet brunch, fashion show and a program with a schedule of the homes open for touring.
Tickets are $65 each. All proceeds go to the Woman’s Club scholarship foundation. Seating is limited.
