The Lely High School Band Boosters are hoping theirs is a car show no one wants to miss.
The inaugural Lely Car Show is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the school.
More than 125 cars will be on display from vintage and antique cars, to rare, specialty, and muscle cars, plus souped-up street rods for those who like a little more flair.
Local car clubs, including Cool Cruisers of Southwest Florida, West Coast Muscle Car Club, and the Naples/Marco Antique Auto Club of America, will be showcasing their very best. In addition, several area car owners who do not belong to a club will be at the show with their prized possessions.
Lely High School’s Trojan Marching Band, including the percussion team, will perform and there will be a concession stand.
Admission is $5, with all proceeds being shared by the Lely High School band and student activity fund.
Those auto enthusiasts who would like to sign up their cars, or want more information on the day, can call Diane Fowler at 394-7330. There’s no registration fee for car owners.
