Criminal mischief
Holly Kincade reported that someone damaged several windows at her residence, 1188 Fourwinds Avenue, between 11:30 and 3 p.m. August 16. Total estimated value of damage is approximately $25. Investigation continues.
Theft
Judy Jacobson reported that someone stole her son’s bicycle at their residence, 681 West Elkcam Circle, between 12 and 3 a.m. August 15. Total estimated value of stolen property is $150. Investigation continues.
Criminal mischief
Randy Jeffery reported that someone vandalized his tractor trailer while parked in a lot at Hartley Street and Bald Eagle drive between 1 and 3 a.m. August 15. Estimated value of damage is unknown.
Grand theft
Todd Chait reported that someone stole an engine cover from his boat that was located at Walker’s Marine, 785 Bald Eagle Drive between 2 and 2:30 p.m. August 15. Estimated value of stolen property is approximately $1,800. Investigation continues.
Driving without a license
An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic offense near 1200 North Collier Boulevard 4:55 a.m. August 13. After investigation was complete, the driver, Eduardo Zapata, 50, of 402 Forrest Hill Boulevard, Naples, was issued a notice to appear in court for driving without a license.
Aggravated battery
Officer’s responded to a disturbance at 185 Delbrook Way between 11:25 and 11:30 a.m. August 13. Christopher Elliott, 21, of 185 Delbrook Way, Marco, was charged with aggravated battery for approaching victim Kenneth Becknell with a knife. Statements were taken. Elliott was arrested and transported to the Naples Jail Center.
Theft
Andy Patterson reported that someone stole a ladder and roofing materials from his residential property at 1055 Caxambas Drive at 11:15 a.m. August 12. Total estimated value of loss is approximately $1,100. Investigation continues.
Possession of marijuana / possession of drug paraphernalia
An officer observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of Reflection’s Liquor Store and Z Bar, 1000 North Collier Boulevard at 12:20 a.m. August 12. The officer approached the vehicle and observed a strong odor of marijuana. While making contact with the driver the officer observed him in possession of drug paraphernalia. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana. Skye L. Anderson, 19, of Waipahu, HI, was arrested and transported to the Naples Jail Center.
Theft from a vehicle
Michael Dean reported that his wallet was stolen from his vehicle while parked in McDonald’s Restaurant parking lot, 899 North Collier Boulevard between 1 and 2:15 p.m. August 11. Estimated value of stolen property is $25. Investigation continues.
Domestic battery
Officers responded to a domestic dispute at 1070 South Collier Boulevard unit 807 at 7:10 p.m. August 10. Victim Rodney Gravatt reported that he was struck by his wife, Kathleen Louise Gravatt, 50. Kathleen Gravatt was arrested for a charge of domestic battery and transported to the Naples Jail Center.
Criminal mischief
Lester Moore reported that someone dismantled and damaged the gate to the entrance of Caxambas Park, 909 Collier Court, between 8 and 10 p.m. August 10. Estimated value of damage is approximately $200. Investigation continues.
Domestic battery
Officers were dispatched to a disturbance at 219 South Collier Boulevard unit 204 at 12:27 a.m., August 9. Victim Brooke Crowder reported that she was struck by Kyle L. Kampman, 21, of 219 South Collier Boulevard unit 204. Statements were verified. Kampman was placed under arrest for a domestic battery charge and transported to the Naples Jail Center.
Driving while license suspended
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near 1000 North Barfield Drive at 4:35 p.m. August 9. After investigation was complete defendant Amr Elmatary, 46, of 1011 Anglers Cove unit H-405 was cited for driving while license suspended.
Trespass attempt
An officer responded to a call regarding an attempted trespass at 9:30 p.m. August 8, at 1047 Hartley Avenue unit 105. Victim Sahira Zuniga reported that she observed someone staring at her through a window while she was in her residence. The suspect fled on foot. Officers were unable to locate a suspect. Investigation continues.
DUI
An officer conducted a stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation near 900 North Collier Boulevard at 3:04 a.m. August 7. After investigation was complete Todd B. Barber, 29, of 1151 North Collier Boulevard, was placed under arrest for a DUI charge. He was transported to the Naples Jail Center.
Trespass / criminal mischief
Ernest Garrett, 61, of 18531 Jade Court, Fort Myers, was placed under arrest at 8:25 p.m. August 6 for charges of trespassing and criminal mischief. Lisa Ann Melicia reported that Garrett was on her property and damaged her garage door at 685 North Barfield Drive. Garrett was transported to the Naples Jail Center.
Theft from a vessel
Michael Chase reported that fishing equipment had been stolen from his boat at 850 Palm Avenue, 3:38 p.m. August 5. Total estimated value of stolen property is $400. Investigation continues.
