ESTERO — The Florida Gulf Coast University women's soccer opener against Florida Atlantic was rained out Friday night. A makeup date has not been set.
The contest was supposed to be the first official game at the FGCU Soccer Complex. The next scheduled home game is Friday, Aug. 29, against Buffalo in the FIU Classic.
FGCU now opens its regular season on the road at 7 p.m. Sunday in Miami against Florida International.
