Island family experiences loss of child

Phoebe Magee, 7, died at home Sunday

— Phoebe Maria Magee, 7, died Sunday, Dec. 28, at home after suffering a long term illness.

She had cerebral palsy and suffered from a seizure disorder.

Phoebe is survived by her father Vince and mother Maria Magee of Marco Island.

Survivors also include five siblings, Justin, Paige, Chelsea, Jeannie and Brady.

Visitation was Tuesday at Hodges-Josberger Funeral Home. A funeral Mass is 12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31 at San Marco Catholic Church, 851 San Marco Road.
