You Review: Jessica Pitts digs The Olive Garden

Jessica Pitts is a band mom for the Golden Gate High School Marching Band. She was in Marco Island helping give out food at the Bike Rodeo and Safety Fair at Mackle Park on Jan. 19.

What is your favorite restaurant? The Olive Garden. (She laughs). That’s terrible, but I always have a good meal there.

What is your favorite meal at the Olive Garden? Ravioli de Portobello. I always get the same thing. It’s got a lot of mushrooms, and it’s got good flavor.

How many times a week do you go out to eat? Twice. My kids are in college and my husband is working in Georgia. So I’m at home by myself.

Do you ever get appetizers or desserts? No, I can never finish my food. I’m too full.

Surely you get dessert somewhere and at some time? My favorite dessert is the peanut butter pie at Mel’s Diner.

Give me three other restaurants that you like. I like Sweet Tomatoes in Fort Myers. If I had the money I’d put one in Naples. Then, there’s Ruby Tuesday’s. And I like the Cracker Barrel because it’s right across the street from my house.
