What is your favorite restaurant?

That’s a tough question. I tried a new one last night, Fitzgerald’s (Bonita Springs). It was good. I’m not sure that it’s my favorite.

What did you get to eat and how was it?

I got their baby back ribs. They were good. I took half of them home with me to eat again tonight. I enjoyed the sauce. It was just right: plenty of sauce, but not so much that you couldn’t pick it up.

Did you get any appetizers or desserts?

No, I’m a weight watcher, so the ribs were bad enough.

How many times a week do you eat out?

Two or three times. Once for lunch and maybe once or twice for dinner.

So does that mean you’re a good cook at home?

I used to be a good cook; but now I take a lot of shortcuts.

Name a few other restaurants that you enjoy.

Norm’s (Naples). I like DiJulio’s on Rattlesnake Hammock Road and I like Applebee’s because they have a really good weight-watching menu.
