The Gulf Coast Little League plates two teams in Florida District 12 competition.
The 9-10-year-old team completed its tournament play earlier this week, while the 10-11-year old squad begins action at 7 p.m. Monday at Max Haase Community Park, off Golden Gate Boulevard in Naples.
Representing the 9-10-year old team, all from East Naples, were Elisha Maxwell, Niels Stone, Logan Gibson, Evandro Melton, Chris Tremblay, Ryan Aldosta, Nolan Duer, Ricky Millan, Nolan Campbell and Billy Pembleton. They were coached by Niels Stone and Pete Gibson.
The 10-11-year old team opens its round robin tourney, playing Greater Naples.
Members of the team include Marco Islanders CJ Lambino, Logan Flowers, Gage Wheeler and Goodland’s Zach Gober. Other team members are Joey Di Angelo, Ezra Tewolde, Terrell Fuller, Dargan Lynch, Zach Mosher and Jake Zacharias. Coaches are Geff Smith and Marco’s Dave Flowers.
