Opening reception of original works by up and coming artists in the community. This exhibit focuses on artists who have received Scholarship Awards through the Art League Center for the Arts Scholarship Program. All work in this exhibit will be available for purchase. Admission is free and open to the public. Exhibit runs through July 31.

Painting with acrylics with instructor Jo-Ann Sanborn. Fee $195; members $146.25

Painting with oils with instructor Inez Hudson Fee is $160 / members $120
-- August 5, 12, 19, 26, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Beginner and intermediate oil/acrylic painting with instructor Connie Rawlins. Fee $160; members: $120
Youth programs

For the summer the program is offered on Tuesdays 10 a.m. –11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. –5:30 p.m.

-- Masking A Memory with Kim Burke
July 10 and 17 — 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. $30 for 1 adult and 1 child
Masking A Memory is a program designed to provide an opportunity for an adult and child to create a lasting memory together; parent/child, grandparent/grandchild, aunt or uncle/niece or nephew, caregiver, friend, etc. The adult participant will learn how to cast a mask of the child’s face and then the two will decorate the mask together. Maximum 12.
-- Kids Arty Party with Kim Burke
July 11, August 8, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. $30 per session
Arty Party is a program designed for children only; grades K - 5. The program involves a new art project every month, includes a pizza dinner, a dessert decorating project and mini art centers allowing the children to work on supervised projects independently. Parents, need a date night? Then this program may be what you’re looking for. The fee for additional children from the same family is $20 per child/per session. Maximum 12 children.
