Marco police briefs: June 10, 2008
DUI
Charles Louis Weil of 1440 Jamaica Rd., Marco Island, was stopped by an officer for traffic offenses while driving on 6th Avenue, Yellowbird Street and Jamaica Road at 3:21 a.m., May 31. Weil was placed under arrest for DUI and taken to the Naples Jail Center.
Violation of Probation
A suspicious subject was seen striking a street light pole with an unknown object near the 1100 block of N. Collier Blvd. at 8:55 p.m., May 31. A records check revealed that Dimas Ramos, 32 of 1160 N. Collier Blvd. was wanted on an active warrant for violation of probation. Ramos was placed under arrest and taken to jail.
Theft of Services
At 7:52 p.m., May 30, Snook Inn Restaurant employees reported that a group of four people ordered drinks at the Snook, 1215 Bald Eagle Drive and left without paying their bill of $12.20. The incident remains under investigation.
Theft
Sandra Hauber reported that her daughters bicycle was stolen at the Publix Supermarket, 175 S. Barfied Drive between 1 p.m. and 1:20 p.m., June 1. Total estimated value of the stolen property is approximately $400. The investigation continues.
Battery
Michael Grabert, 27, of 805 N. Barfield Drive, Marco Island, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. Monday, June 2 at 190 N. Collier Blvd. Grabert was charged with punching Charles Allen. After the investigation was completed the defendant was taken to jail.
Driving without a license
Mariano Munzo, 20 of 7237 Alveny Road, Ft. Myers, was arrested after committing several traffic infractions near Bald Eagle Drive and East Elkcam Circle around 7:35 a.m., June 4. A records check revealed the driver was not licensed to drive. He was taken to jail.
Grand theft auto
Marco Terrell Mis, 20 of 529 Tallwood St., No. 4, Marco Island, was arrested June 6 at 3301 U.S. 41. He was charged with motor vehicle theft.

I see the same losers are still getting arrested. Wow, how things don't change.
