HB’s on the Gulf, winner of the “Best Seafood” award at the Taste of Collier, has unveiled the “Summer Fare” menu. The menu is an addition to the regular menu, and is offered earlier in the evening. The restaurant will also offer a complimentary bottle of wine with the purchase of two dinner entrées from its regular menu throughout the summer. Located at The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club, HB’s on the Gulf is the city of Naples’ only beachfront restaurant.
Featuring summer-sized entrée portions of 5-6 ounces, Summer Fare is offered from 5 - 6:30 pm every evening. Offerings include Parmesan Chicken and Field Greens, Pesto Tuna Caesar, Ginger Salmon, Baked Gulf Grouper, Blackened Pork Tenderloin, and Land and Sea Duo (New York Strip and a petite Mahi Mahi Fillet). Entrées range in price from $16 - $24 and can be paired with a glass of Leaping Horse Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot for only $3 more.
“HB’s has had a very good year with wonderful comments on our new menu, our wine list, and our staff. We wanted to make beachfront dining more accessible, and the additional menu offers a great dining experience and great value,” said Jim Anderson, Food & Beverage Director for the resort.
Named after the landmark resort’s founder Henry Broadwell Watkins Sr., HB’s On The Gulf serves fresh regional seafood, great steaks and American cuisine. Offering indoor dining with stunning views of the Gulf, as well as an outdoor patio overlooking the water, HB’s is a zero transfat restaurant which serves an array of offerings, including a selection of natural and organic items. Lunch is served daily from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m., and dinner is served daily from 5 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
Consistently recognized as one of Southwest Florida’s best places to view a sunset, HB’s on the Gulf is an annual recipient of the prestigious “Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator magazine. The award is given to restaurants in recognition of their commitment to a fine wine list, with a diverse selection of better producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. Wine lists need to be extensive, and usually offer at least 80 selections. HB’s wine list features more than 140 selections from around the world, including 1997 vintage California Cabernets and a 4-year vertical of Australia’s Penfolds Grange.
