Possession of marijuana
Candace Gambino Stefanelli, 44 of 20020 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, was arrested following a traffic stop in the rear of Porky’s Restaurant at O’Malley’s Alley and Chalmers Drive for possession of marijuana, 4:24 a.m., June 13. She was released on a notice to appear in court.
Loitering or prowling, possession of controlled substance, burglary while armed with dangerous weapon, theft, possession of drug paraphernalia
Officers responded to a call of a burglary in progress at 1129 San Marco Road at 8:15 a.m., June 13. The subject fled the scene. An officer located a subject before 9:28 a.m. matching the description of the burglary suspect. The subject was then identified by witnesses. Defendant Jarrod Hampton Wilson, 32 of 1950 45th Terrace SW, Naples was arrested. A search of his person revealed he was in possession of marijuana, a knife, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Naples Jail Center.
Domestic battery
Defendant Thomas James Orr, 49 of 457 Tallwood Street #105, Marco Island was arrested after victim Jean Davis reported that she was struck by the subject at 1027 Anglers Cove B405. After the investigation which began 6:56 p.m., June 13, the Orr was taken to the Naples Jail Center.
Driving while license suspended
An officer conducted a traffic stop for a traffic offense at San Marco Road and North Barfield Drive at 4:05 p.m., June 14. After investigation was completed, Samuel Caceras-Rivera, 28 of 13 Salina Drive, Naples, was placed under arrest for driving while license suspended. He was taken to the Naples Jail Center.
Retail theft
Defendant Ricardo Menchaca, 44, of 307 Benson St., Naples was arrested for shoplifting from Publix Supermarket, 1089 Collier Blvd. N. at 12:40 p.m., June 15. Total estimated value of stolen goods was $18.02. He was taken to the Naples Jail Center.
Criminal mischief
Jim Hodgdon reported damage to several sprinklers located at Winterberry Park, 1400 Winterberry Drive between 3 p.m., June 13, and 9 a.m. June 16. Estimated value of damage is unknown. Investigation continues.
Driving while license suspended
An officer conducted a traffic stop for several equipment violations at 2400 San Marco Road, 7:35 a.m., June 16. After investigation, Kevin Kim Aiton, 22 of 460 Mango, Goodland was arrested for driving while license suspended and released at the scene on a notice to appear in court.
Grand theft motor vehicle, grand theft $900
Marco Terrell Mis, 20, of 529 Tallwood St. #4, Marco Island was placed under arrest by Marco Island Police Department while in custody at the Collier County Jail on other charges at 9:20 a.m., June 6. He was charged with the theft of a motor vehicle and theft of two checks that were stolen and cashed in the amount of $900.
Grand theft
Marianna Tirri reported the theft of construction building materials stolen from the property located at 961 Winterberry Drive between 9 a.m., June 1, and 11 a.m. June 4. Total estimated value of stolen property is approximately $500. Investigation continues.
DUI, possession of marijuana
An officer conducted a traffic stop at 3:37 p.m., for a traffic offense at N. Collier Blvd. and W. Elkcam Circle. After investigation was completed defendant Michael George Zanger, 26, of 541 One Ctr. Blvd., Apt. 209, Altamonte, Fla., was placed under arrest for DUI and Possession of marijuana and taken to the Naples Jail Center.
Driving while license suspended
An officer conducted a stop on a vehicle for a traffic offense near the 900 block of N. Barfield Drive at 3:19 p.m., June 5. After investigation was completed, Aaron E. Cecemski, 27, of 107 N. Sunset St., Marco Island was arrested for driving while his license was suspended. He was taken to the Naples Jail Center.
Possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia
An officer responded to the Bombay Club, 695 Bald Eagle Drive, to investigate a report of a suspicious subject possibly selling drugs at 1:57 a.m., June 7. After investigation defendant Jason Michael Pszczola, 22 of 256 Tahiti Road, Marco Island, was arrested for possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Naples Jail Center.
DUI, driving while license suspended
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic offense at 6th Ave and East Elkcam Circle 2:59 a.m., June 8. After investigation was completed, defendant Thomas Bundick, 24 of 1063 Hartley Ave., Marco Island, was arrested for DUI and driving while license suspended. He was taken to the Naples Jail Center.
DUI, driving while license suspended, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for several traffic offenses at the 1400 block N. Collier Blvd., 11:54 p.m., June 8. After investigation was completed defendant Roy Albert Grimes, 43 of 4600 25th Ave SW, Naples was arrested and taken to the Naples Jail Center.
Criminal mischief
Kenneth Dale reported damage to his landscape lighting in the amount of $180 at 1379 Bayport Avenue between 9 p.m., June 8, and 6:30 a.m., June 9. Investigation continues.
Failure to change address
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic offense 4:10 p.m., June 9, at the 800 block of N. Barfield Drive. After investigation was completed Ivan Chystyk, 22 of 2033 Rookery Bay Drive #1702, Naples, was arrested for failure to change address on his vehicle registration and released on a notice to appear in court.
Obtaining food or lodging with intent to defraud
An officer responded to Cathy O’Clarkes Restaurant, 591 S. Collier Blvd., to investigate a report of a subject leaving without paying his bill for the amount of $30.72 at 6:41 p.m., June 9. After investigation was completed, defendant John Kevin Evely, 49 of 134 Palm Dr. #9, Naples, was arrested and taken to the Naples Jail Center.
Theft of a kayak
Local residents reported the theft of two kayaks from the property at 991 Collier Court between 8 p.m., June 9, and 8:30 a.m., June 10. Total estimated value of stolen property is approximately $1,000. Investigation continues.
Resisting officer without violence to his person
Officers responded to a reported call of a reckless driver at 995 N. Collier Blvd. 9:45 p.m., June 10. The officer made contact with the subject matching the description of the driver. During the officer’s investigation the subject was uncooperative and became resistant. After a slight struggle to restrain him the officer handcuffed Edilio Jose Ramos Tomas, 18 of 1904 Sheffield Ave., Marco Island, placed him under arrest for resisting. He was taken to the Naples Jail Center.
Theft of a bicycle
It was reported that a child’s bicycle was stolen from Mackle Park, 1361 Andalusia Terrace between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m., June 11. Estimated value of property stolen is approximately $80. Investigation continues.
Theft of a fountain
Marcy Kruchten reported that a fountain valued at approximately $750 was stolen from the property at the Olde Marco Inn, 100 Palm Street between 12 p.m., June 3, and 9 a.m., June 12. Investigation continues.
