Over fifty space voyagers, from the age 4 through the fifth grade, explored the wonders of God at Marco Presbyterian Church’s “Cosmic City” Vacation Bible School, June 2 to 6.

The children enjoyed a simple dinner, drama, crafts, games, music, snacks and interactive Bible lessons.

The Vacation Bible School concluded on Friday with a presentation by the children for their parents and an ice cream social.

The next stop for a cadre from the Cosmic City Team and others from the church is the Indian Reservation in Cherokee, North Carolina, where they will present the same Vacation Bible School to area children and do a work project. Each year the church sends a short-term missions team to Cherokee. Children who attended the free Presbyterian Vacation Bible School were given the opportunity to give money to buy Bibles for children in Cherokee.

Marco Presbyterian Church is located at 875 West Elkcam Circle. Information 394-8186 or www.marcochurch.com
