The YMCA Gym was “THE” place to be last Saturday as the Marco Island YMCA First Annual Expo Open House was held.
Marco Island residents stopped by throughout the afternoon to visit the various booths staffed by the departments at the “Y” plus Corporate Sponsors such as the Marriott Vacation Club, The Hilton- Marco Island, Marco Island Office Supply, American Computer Solutions, Dr Loam Lam of Comprehensive Foot and Ankle were on hand to distribute information about their services.
It was fun to see the various aerobic demonstrations held by instructors Kathy Kurtz, Carla Bonilla and Joan Pernice.
It was also a Member Get a Member Day with new members and their sponsor receiving YMCA Duffle Bags once they joined.
Also when the attendees visited all the booths and had a card stamped, they earned a free day pass to use and try out our programs.
A fun time was had by all and we are already planning our next Open House Expo.
