Sale e Pepe’s Executive Chef Alberto Varetto teamed with Pastry Chef Emmanuel Boscherel for a unique presentation/tasting rarely experienced outside of Italy. Chef Alberto was born in Torino, Italy and he began his culinary apprenticeship at the age of 12 and then received his Diploma Alberghiero di Cucina before beginning his culinary career in Italy. On the other hand, French-born Chef Emmanuel is internationally known and highly regarded for performing miracles in chocolate.
These “In the Round” demonstrations will take place May 28 at Orion Bank, 605 Bald Eagle. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the demos will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
There will be a Risotto presentation including history, quality, characteristics and tasting of Risotto. Also demos of traditional techniques and secrets from Chef Alberto.
Also, the chocolate presentation will include chronology, techniques and tasting of chocolate and a demo of hand-made truffles.
