Theft
Suzan Krisher reported that someone stole her purse from her unlocked vehicle while parked at her residence, 235 N. Barfield Drive between 3 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. May 14. Total estimated value of stolen property is approximately $440.
Criminal mischief
A city employee reported damage to a storage shed located next to the basketball court at Mackle Park, 1361 Andalusia Terrace between 3:00 p.m. May 14 and 8:06 a.m. May 15. Damage was approximately $100.
Grand theft – Cashing, depositing item with intent to defraud; five counts
Janet Mary Clifford, 44 of 3539 Santiago Way, Naples was placed under arrest at the Marco Island Police Department and charged with grand theft and five counts of cashing, depositing an item with the intent to defraud after she deposited a total of $95,914.25 into her personal checking account. The checks were made payable to sub-contractors of her employer Panorama Custom Home Builders Inc. She was arrested at 5:25 p.m. May 19 and transported to the Naples Jail Center.
