Southwest Florida Golf Charities has awarded its final donations.

The charities, with funds gained through the annual Bill Owen Classic, issued nine scholarships at $5,000 each to Collier County High School students.

Jeanne Paul was the Lely High recipient. Others included, Allison Fernandez, Barron Collier; James Ridgeway, Everglades City; Merline Jacques, Golden Gate; Daniel Ruiz, Gulf Coast; Ginoux Casseus, Immokalee; Bordine and Jean Dornevil, Naples — each receiving $2,500 — and Alexandra Burr, St. John Neumann.

Total gifting for the year comes to $133,000.

The 20th annual Bill Owen Classic will be Jan. 26, 2009.
