According to a report from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, an Isles of Capri man died Thursday when he lost control of his motorcycle on the 1400 block of 19th St. S.W. in Golden Gate Estates.
CCSO reports say Joseph Nugent, 39, 360 Capri Blvd., was southbound at 12:12 p.m. when he lost control and went off the road. The motorcycle went into a culvert and came to final resting place in a wooded area. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Reports say Nugent was wearing a helmet.
