Grand theft

William Martin reported that someone stole miscellaneous items from his residence at 1170 Edington Place sometime between 7 p.m., Sept. 25, and 10:30 a.m., Sept. 26. Total estimated value of stolen property is approximately $2,654.00. Investigation continues.

Stalking

Daniel J. Chapple, 61 of 591 Seaview Court unit A-109 was arrested at 190 North Collier Boulevard, 2:30 p.m., Sept. 29, for suspected stalking after an investigation led officers to believe he had been looking in windows of several residents on numerous occasions. Chapple was taken to Naples Jail Center.

Aggravated battery

A dispute at 1024 Angler’s Cove at 4 p.m., Sept. 29, led to the arrest of Issac Gonzalez-Valdivia, age unknown, of 350 10th Street North, Naples. Valdivia was charged with aggravated battery against victim Rigobeto Vizcaya Ramirez. It was reported that Valdivia threatened Ramirez with a machete. Valdivia was taken to Naples Jail Center.

Permitting unauthorized operator to drive

A routine traffic stop at 7:50 a.m., Sept. 29, near the 600 block of South Collier Boulevard, led to a citation when Reyes Isabel Lemus, 36, of 26th Plank Southwest #201, Naples was charged with allowing an unlicensed operator to drive a vehicle.
