MARCO ISLAND Theft of chlorine
Joe Irigoyen reported at 11 p.m. Oct. 2 that someone stole a container of chlorine from his vehicle while parked at 669 Bald Eagle Drive. Investigation continues.
Criminal mischief
Jane Morra reported that two of her vehicles had been damaged during the past month while parked in the lot at the Duchess Condominiums, 220 South Collier Boulevard. The damages, estimated at $1,000, occurred between 8 a.m. Sept. 1 and 4 p.m. Oct. 3. Investigation continues.
Theft from a vehicle
Heather Broujos reported that someone broke into her vehicle while parked at Grand View Condominiums, 741 South Collier Boulevard, and stole a GPS System valued at approximately $400. Investigation of the break, which likely occurred between 11:30 a.m. Oct. 3 and 6:15 a.m. Oct. 4, is being conducted.
Theft of bicycle
Vonda Anderson reported that someone had stolen her daughter’s bicycle located outside their residence at 139 Marco Lake Drive #310 between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Oct. 4. Investigation of the theft of the bicycle, valued at about $75, is underway.
Criminal mischief
Carol Gittleman reported that someone damaged her vehicle while parked at Ship’s Landing parking lot, 1100 South Collier Boulevard, between 3 p.m. Oct. 3 and 1:10 p.m. Oct. 5. Damage to the vehicle is approximately $1,000. Investigation continues.
Theft of pool heater
Laura Kocak reported that someone stole a pool heater from a home under construction at 786 South Barfield Drive, between 5 p.m. Oct. 3 and 8 a.m. Oct. 5. Several other items at the construction site were also vandalized causing an estimated loss of approximately $6,900 in property damage. Investigation continues.
