Correction: In Wednesday's swami chart or first game, everyone took New York, not Washington. Dottie Weiner takes San Francisco, fourth game from bottom, instead of Arizona.

The Eagle Swamis open the NFL season agreeing to disagree.
The swamis, Dottie Weiner, Don Healy, Roger Raymond and Dave Rice, differ on nine of the 16 games.
Roger Raymond takes the first swipe, taking Atlanta as it hosts Detroit. While Atlanta was the soap opera of the NFL last season, Raymond seems to think the Falcons can win at home.
His next faux pas might be taking Tennessee, hosting Jacksonville. Although both teams finished well last season, Raymond again takes the home team.
His last departure from the group is Oakland winning at home against Denver.
Defending five-time champ Dave Rice goes against the swamis once in taking host San Francisco over Arizona.
Weiner surprises by going with host Buffalo over NFL bowl contender Seattle.
Healy disagrees in taking Green Bay at home against the Minnesota Vikings.
“Even without Brett Favre the Packers should win,” he says.
The swamis split in the New York Jets at Miami Dolphins game.
Healy and Rice like Favre and the Jets. Weiner and Raymond take the Dolphins. The game pits former Jets quarterback Chad Pennington, now with Miami, tossing against future Hall of Famer Favre, who plays his first game after 14 years at Green Bay.
“I pick Favre to win that dual,” said Healy. “Pennington will make the transition, but is still not in sync with the receiving corps,” Rice thinks.
Raymond said, “Favre draws a big crowd for the first of many losses with the Jets.”
Tampa Bay at New Orleans splits the swamis. Healy and Raymond take the Saints, while Rice and Weiner side with the Buccaneers.
Raymond expects a tough win for the Saints, while Healy rides with the home team. Weiner and Rice confident the Bucs can win on the rode and that the emotional distraction with the game at New Orleans will make a difference.
The former New Yorker, Weiner, pulls a homer as everyone takes the Giants in hosting Washington.
“Giants enjoy euphoria before reality sets in,” said Raymond.
“Super Bowl victory carries over early,” said Rice, while Healy takes the Giants in a close game.
No one takes Houston at Pittsburgh, but Houston has won four straight opening games.
“You never know who will show up for the Bears, but if the real Peyton Manning shows up the Colts win easily,” Healy said, summing up all the swamis thoughts.
Dallas is at Cleveland, but so what, say the swamis.
“This is the Cowboys year,” said Rice.
Stop by next week to see how the Swamis did.
