Tara and Roxy after a hard day of cleaning house, working in the yard and going for a boat ride. Tara is a 1-and-a-half years old miniature Pincher and Roxy is an 8-month-old-half rottweiler and half Labrador. The dogs belong to Bonita Springs resident Sandy Meyers.

Samantha Scott sent us this photo of her Doberman named Reese. 'Reese acted as our team mascot during the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure,' Scott wrote. Scott owns a PR/Marketing firm in the area and together the team raised more than $1,000 for breast cancer research. Reese even ran in the event.

Jerry and Sandi Boren wanted to show off their pet, Buddy. He’s 5-years-old. When he was 1 and was being ignored he would jump up and turn the hallway lights one. He opens bi-fold doors and the lanai door with ease; just give him an inch or less. He has a lizard friend, but still knocks toads off the screens. If his parents aren’t up at 4 a.m. he awakens them with a gentle tap until they are up. He also loves NASCAR.
