Join members and friends as the Art League opens a new exhibition with an awards ceremony and campus-wide open house this Friday, April 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. Art Focus is a regional, juried competition offering a diverse collection of artworks. Visitors to the exhibition will find watercolors, oils, acrylics and pastels alongside pottery, sculpture, photography and more. Southwest Florida is home to many very gifted artists and this exhibition showcases their talent. Award winners will be announced at approximately 7 p.m. in the Main Gallery.
The entire Center for the Arts campus will be open for public viewing during Friday’s awards reception. The studio/classrooms will feature demonstrations by instructors and art sales by faculty and students. This is the last open house of the season and sculpture students are ready to show their finished pieces from this winter’s class sessions. This is an evening you won’t want to miss — great art, interesting demonstrations and an excellent opportunity to see what the Art League of Bonita Springs is all about. The public is invited to this free event so bring a friend and tour the Art Leagues’ beautiful Center for the Arts campus.
