Days and weeks have eroded away another winter season. Cold northern winds are now tempered with the promising breath of spring. Preparations for the semi-annual migration are at hand and soon we will bid our neighbors farewell.
Gone are the clubhouse dinners, pool parties and board meetings. Gone are the Gulf fishing expeditions, warm nighttime walks and intimate gatherings of friends. Gone are the warm breezes, swaying palms and dazzling sunsets along the beach. It is time to head home.
The park is quieter now. Some may say it is resting and sleeping while awaiting our return.
All the memories of the past several months will linger with us and meld with those of other years creating another remnant within the patchwork tapestry of our lives.
It is at this time I wish you all good health, happy days and all the best along your way. I also want to express my condolences to you who have lost loved ones and my appreciation of all I have met here at LTP. I would also like to thank the Banner for inserting my renderings and ramblings. Most of though I would like to thank my wife who volunteered me to write these articles. Thanks Hun! It was fun.
Until next year when we all gather again at LTP, Paul.
