Bonita financial firm planner earns certification

Ciccarelli Advisory Services, Inc. announced that Dustin C. Rinaldi, an associate planner based in the firm’s Bonita Springs office, has earned Certified Financial Planner certification. A CFP professionals must take extensive classes and exams in the areas of financial planning, taxes, insurance, estate planning and retirement. Joe’s Crab Shack to hold fundraiser on Sunday

St. Matthew’s House will be the beneficiary of a fundraiser at Joe’s Crab Shack restaurant from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday. During this time, Joe’s Crab Shack will donate 10 to 20 percent of each check to St. Matthew’s House, based on the final proceeds.

Patrons wishing to allocate the donation from their bill must present a St. Matthew’s House fundraiser flier to their server. These fliers are available at St. Matthew’s House or any of their three thrift stores in Naples, Bonita Springs, and Immokalee.

Naples travel agency among top producers in U.S.

Preferred Travel of Naples was among the 25 top-producing travel agencies in the United States in 2008 and was recently honored by Signature Travel Network’s Horizon Club. The top producing agencies were invited to sail on Solstice, Celebrity Cruises new ship.

Preferred Travel of Naples President and CEO Wilma Boyd was a featured guest speaker on the Solstice, speaking to an audience of approximately 100 travel agents from all over the United States. Boyd was invited to speak about her agency experience, community service and networking knowledge.

Boyd has been recognized numerous times for her community service. In 2008, the Naples Daily News awarded her with the Outstanding Citizen award. She also recently received a key to the city of Naples for her commitment to the community.
