The first Marco Music Festival is this weekend and the excitement is evident as final preparations are being made. For details on the festival, including performer’s, read this week’s Marcophiles, online at marconews.com and in the Wednesday edition of the Eagle.

One of the important elements of an event expecting to exceed 4,000 attendees is moving the guests to and from the event.

The Marco Police Foundation has arranged bus transportation from several Island locations, making it convenient for everyone to access the concert with ease. Ample free parking is available at each location.

The following are the pickup/drop-off points on the day of the concert, April 19: 11 a.m. – Marco Island City Hall, 50 Bald Eagle Drive and NCH Medical Center (across street from City Hall), 40 Heathwood Drive; beginning at noon, buses will begin pickup at St. Marks Church with additional stops at St. Marks Episcopal Church, 1101 North Collier Blvd.; Marco Island City Hall; NCH Medical Center and San Marco Catholic Church, 851 San Marco Road.

See the map for more details.
